New short course teaches basics of petroleum geology
to financial professionals involved in A&D

Do you work with young colleagues or those who have transitioned from another segment of the financial industry? Do they know more about spreadsheets and bottom lines than how rock properties determine the cash flow from a producing field?

If so, a new course offered at APPEX (the AAPG’s Prospect and Property Expo) may be just the thing to bring them up to speed: Petroleum Geology for Financial Professionals Short Course, taught by geologist Ted Beaumont, is a one-day course designed to help financial professionals without a geology background evaluate oil and gas plays more effectively.

This lively and informative course will cover:
